Spellbinders Opportunity for Embellishment Tutorial

Hello friends I am sharing a Spellbinders Tutorial today, using Spellbinders Dies of course!  I wanted to take this opportunity to as you - what do you do when something does not go as planned - or am I the only one that happens to? Wink:wink.  I was told that there is no such thing as a mistake - they are opportunities for embellishment and I have found that to be so true as you will see as you follow the tutorial.

I stamped the fabulous image and when I selected the Die I wanted to use the cardstock was not big enough - rather than throw it away, you can follow the tutorial and see how I used it....

Spellbinders Products:
Other: Liquid Glue; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares; Want2Scrap:  Self Adhesive; Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko: Memento Ink in Rhubard Stalk; Ranger: Walnut Stain; KaiserCraft: Lace; Butterfly image; postmark image; Mulberry Paper Rose; Aqua Brush

1. Stamp image using brown ink, colour the stamped sentiment using an Aqua Brush.
2. Cut/emboss the stamped sentiment using Pierced Rectangles #5 #6 (#1 being the smallest)
3. Randomly stamp postmark around the sentiment using Rhubarb Stalk ink.
4. Layer onto red card cut slightly larger using 3D Foam Squares,

5. Attach crochet lace using liquid glue, ticking the ends of the lace behind the image.
6. Adhere to slightly larger card-base using brown cardstock.
7. Adhere red Baby Bling along the lace and to the top corners of the card as shown.
8. Adhere a layered butterfly to the lower portion of the card, just above the lace.
9. Attach a red paper rose using liquid glue,

See how easy it is  and who would know that the embellishments on the lower portion of the card are covering an error - I hope you think twice before throwing those things that aren't  exact in the bin!

Take care friends - thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!
