PB Sunshine Garden

I am taking a break from Easter cards to day to share a 'sunny' card with you!  I have had this Penny Black image for a long time but have finally managed to fit in some 'colouring therapy' and get a few cards created!

This is such a fun image and just had to be coloured in summer colours - I am surprised at how much I am enjoying yellow - it used to 'skeer' me but I am finding the more I use it, the more I am loving it - funny that! LOL!

The image has been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and the Postage Stamps Nestibilities.  One of the Fancy Tags Three Dies has been cut out and cut in half and added to each end of the image, to create a frame....I am loving this look!

The sentiment is from the retired Layers of Color Sentimental Banners clear art stamp set, designed by NinaB Designs and the DP is some Stampin' Up! paper from my stash.....a very easy card but I love how the Spellbinders Die Templates and the Penny Black image bring it all together so well!

LOC Sneak Peek # 2 - Beautiful Friend

I am back with my second Sneak Peek from the Layers of Color November New Release

This set is called Beautiful Lace - and it certainly lives up to it's name!  As soon as I saw this image I immediately thought of a scene from the movie Pretty Woman - where Julia Roberts is at the races and looks divine in a polka dot dress and a gorgeous hat....

The image has been cut out with the Spellbinders Postage Stamp Nestibilitie, designed by Nina Brackett and cut out with the Grand Calibur

There are a number of fabulous sentiments to choose from, in beautiful fonts

I could not resist adding some of the gorgeous little Mulberry flowers, lace and a punched butterfly by Martha Stewart.

LOC Joyful Ornament

Only a few sleeps now until the Layers of Color Ornament Blog Hop - I am getting excited as I know there is an overwhelming amount of inspiration and sheer beauty awaiting us all!

Christmas is approaching so quickly now and if where you live is anything like where I live, the Christmas decorations are going up in the shops and those overseas cards and parcels are starting to make their way to the recipients.

I am so pleased to have my cards made early, thank you to the newest releases from Layers of Color.  This card has used the Christmas Verses and Nature Walk art stamp sets.  I have also used one of my newest Spellbinders Dies - the Postage Stamp - it has been cut with the Grand Calibur - my 'must have' tool!.

I have also used a Stampin' Up punch (thanks Ann)

The gorgeous ribbon is a gift from a friend - don't you just LOVE it - I savour every centimetre of it and use it sparing!
