Cherub Love

Hello friends , welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you are enjoying your weekend - it is Sunday evening and a cool one with a cold week ahead by the sounds of it - so...no prizes for guessing where you can find me! Wink:wink!!

I have used patterned papers from my stash - you know the 5cm strips that are often left sitting in a pile after card making - I have adhered two pieces length ways to a piece of recycled card board, cutting and embossing using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut pink card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The image and smaller layer are from Prima and have been adhered to the centre of the card front using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  A narrow strip of patterned paper has been sponged around the edges and adhered below the Cherub.  A mixture of pearls, buttons and a Mulberry paper rose have been glued onto the narrow strip of patterned paper.

A strip of small pink pompoms have been glued below the smaller layer.  Corners have been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Callista Rectangle Shadowbox Frame Etched Dies Shadowbox by Becca Feeken and pink card stock and adhered using glue.

Prima Birdcage

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a card that I have recreated from a card I created  some time ago - I did love the effect so decided to 'CASE' (Copy And Share Everything) myself and make a few changes too.

The image is from Prima Marketing - it came free with a Craft Magazine - quite a long time ago, I have always love it - from memory it is called Enchanted.  The birdcage has been stamped using Imagine Versafine Ink in Onyx Black - such a great ink for detailed images,  This has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and layered into Spellbinders Shapeabilities Fancy Tags Two Etched Dies using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The next layer has been trimmed and embossed using the Cabbage Roses Embossing Folders, sponged using Imagine Memento Luxe Ink in Rose Bud.  This has been layered onto a Prima Card Front that I have had sitting in my stash for some time. A metal tag has been added using the Basic Tags Die and Want2Scrap Pink Rhinestones have been added around the Frame and across the Tag.  Lace roses a Mulberry Paper Rose have been glued below the birdcage and Kindy Glitz added to the bird cage.

This has been adhered to an old book page and onto a pre-but card base.  Lots of layers but not too bulky!
