Spellbinders Splatter Proof Tutorial

Hello friends - today I am sharing a Spellbinders Tutorial using some of the fabulous Dies designed by Seth Apter of The Altered Page.  I love these grungy Dies that make us look so arty without too much work on our part! LOL! You can see how easy it is as you follow along with this Tutorial.

Spellbinders Products:

• S4-622 Seth Apter Splatter Proof Dies
• S5-172 A2 Curved Matting Basics B Card Creator
• SCP-013 Whirl White
• PL-001 Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine

Other: Liquid Glue; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares; Stampendous stamped sentiment;  Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko: Radiant Neons in Electric Yellow, Electric Orange and Electric Pink; Memento Ink in ; patterned paper

1. Cut a 2 inch panel of patterned paper #1.
2, Adhere to the center of patterned paper #2.
3. Cut/emboss using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B #5 (#1 being the smallest).
4.Cut dark blue cardstock 4" x 10', scoring in the centre.
5. Cut/emboss using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B #6 (#1 being the smallest), making sure to keep the fold INSIDE the top of the Die Cutting Edge to form the card base.

6. Cut/emboss one (1) Circle with Holes and one (1) Circle with Splatter in Whirl White cardstock.
7. Cut a circle to back the Circle with Holes and sponge randomly with inks.
8. Adhere the inked circle to the Circle with Holes using liquid Glue.
9. Stamp the sentiment to the lower portion of the card using Blue Ink
10. Adhere the Splatter Circle above the sentiment using liquid glue.
11. Pop Circle with Holes up on the center of the Circle Splatter using 3D Foam Squares.
12. Adhere small Die Cuts from Circles with Holes randomly to the card front.

Grow Where You Are Planted

Hello friends today I'm sharing another card created using one of the newly released Spellbinders Die D-lites called Succulent Garden - this time I am using the actual succulent as opposed to the Aloe Vera and Cactus

I have cut and embossed the succulents and popped and popped it up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3D Foam Squares on to a Classic Oval large. This is being layered onto a larger Classic Oval.

 I have adhered it to this to the patterned paper on which I've drawn a border and added paint dots to add to the garden feel of this card.

The layered image has been popped up onto yellow matting and adhered to a pre-cut cardbase.

The sentiment is from Inky Antics stamps set designed by my friend Trudy Sjolander and works perfectly with these dies.  I have used Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko Momento ink in Tuxedo Black. I have also added some postmarks to the Classic Oval.

Birthday Cactus

Hello friends today I'm sharing a card created using one of the newly released Spellbinders Die D-lites called Succulent Garden - Succulents are trending at the moment and this die is perfect for cards for every occasion. When I die-cut I normally cut a few extra which are great to have on hand for a quick card.

I have cut and embossed the succulents and popped and popped it up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3D Foam Squares on to a Classic Oval large then  adhered to a pre-cut cardbase and patterned paper - cut/embossed using the Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics A Card Creator.   Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner and 3D Foam Squares have been used on this card and the bling is from Want2Scrap.

Love Vines Heart

Hello friends - it is fast approaching Valentines Day - time to share a card using a heart - not that we specifically celebrate Valentines Day - we show our love every day of the year - but it is a fun day and one that is important to so many people...

I have used a Spellbinders Heart Die that has been adhere to a Scalloped Heart in white cardstock.  This in-turn has been popped up onto an Elegant Ovals Nestabilities.  Torn paper had been added across the oval and adds an extra touch with the texture.  This is a great opportunity to use those pretty little pieces of patterned paper we just can't part with - or is that just me!?!? LOL! I believe this strip could be a retired Stampin Up! paper.  The underneath Oval is from Authentique Paper - from the Glistening Collection.

My card is held together by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L - my 'go to' adhesive.  The Beautiful Bling Border and turquoise pearls are from Want2Scrap.

Say It with Roses

Roses - I love them, whether they are in the garden or a vase,

in a photo or a painting - I just love them! The Bed of Roses cling stamp from Penny Black Inc is a favourite of mine too!

I have stamped it using IMAGINE Crafts® Radiant Neon™ Pigment Ink in Electric Purple - we have a rose that is close to this colour called 'Shocking Blue' - the colour is divine and the perfume is amazing!!

The sentiment is also from Penny Black Inc. and has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® and Fancy Tags Three Shapeabilities®.  The co-ordinating Want2Scrap© Nestabling has been added along with some flowers from my stash. 
Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner have been used on this card.

One of a Kind

Hi Blog Friends, my posts have been slower as I have been away in New Zealand to celebrate my Mother's birthday - it was wonderful being with my siblings and family, but I do love coming home to my family here...I have the best of both worlds.

  I am sharing a quick card created using some of the fabulous Spellbinders Dies - I am sure that does

The Feathers are cut/stenciled using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and the Feathers

Spellbinders® Shapeabilities®.  The background ovals have been cut/stenciled using the Classic Ovals LG.

 The bling is from Want2Scrap©.  I have used Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L- E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares.

Imagine the Possabilities

Hello Blog Friends - thanks for visiting today!  I love this Penny Black Inc image - designed by my dear friend and amazing artist - Laura Kirste

It has been stamped with the fabulous new

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Radiant Neons Ink in Electric Purple.  An Aqua Brush was been used to drag the colour across the image, to add depth and dimension.

The colour is added in layers until you reach the desired effect.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! and has been stamped in

IMAGINECrafts®/Tsukineko® Delicata™ Pigment Ink in Golden Glitz.  This has been layered onto the Fancy Tags Three Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® that has been cut/embossed and stenciled using the  Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine
