Layers of Color New Release BLOG HOP!!

Hello everyone - if you are here for the Layers of Color Blog Hop you are in the right place - and if you have just stopped in, you may want to click here and start the Blog Hop at the beginning - there are sets of Art Stencils being given away on some designers Blogs.  Today we are celebrating the release of the Layers of Color New Release Art Stencils - we have been showing you sneak peeks for the past few weeks and today is the BIG REVEAL!!

I am excited to be giving away one of the Art Stencils today as well -are you excited!?!?  Find out how you could win further down this post

If you came from Kristine's Blog you are in the right place, if you did not start at the beginning, please pop over to Layers of Color and start at the beginning - the whole 7 sets of Art Stencils are being drawn and you NEED to be in it!!

I am excited to be showing you this Altered Album that I created using three of the Art Stencils, you can see how versatile they are and how well they work with each other and the Layers of Color art stamp sets.

Belle Brocade Art Stencil, sponged it with Distressing Inks and added Gold Half Pearls

This close up really shows off the pattern of this stencil, so elegant!

The next Art Stencil is the Natural Flourish, how perfect is this is adorn with images and sentiments, they are perfect for creating your own DP

I have used the butterfly from the Layers of Color Flutterescent art stamp set - my favourite butterfly - you may know that is you are a regular to my Blog - it features regularly!

The Vintage Medallion Art Stencil - so elegant and stunning, again I have inked it with Distressing Inks and added the darling Chickadee from the Backyard Birds art stamp set, along with miscellaneous sentiments.

The final 'page' is featuring the Joyful Noise art stamp set, the young lady I have made this for is a musician and this is perfect for her.

I have randomly stamped the music notes and the single flower from the Merci Bouquet art stamp set, lightly colouring it with chalks and adding Kindy Glitz to the centre of each flower.  The Cleft is also lightly chalked to highlight it.

And of course the hymnal has been torn and inked before being added down the side.

The whole thing comes together with ribbon and lace - so what do you think - don't the Art Stencils add so much elegance, and they are so easy to use.
You can win one Art Stencil of your choice just by popping over to Layers of Color and coming back here to leave a comment, telling me your favourite Art Stencil - how easy is that!!  I can''t wait to see which ones you can't live without!  LOL!  I will draw a winner at the end of the Blog Hop - so you will only have 24 hours - what are you waiting for - get yourself over there to choose!!!
