Crafty Friends - Best Foot Forward

I am excited because it is my turn to host the Crafty Friends Challenge and I have made us very easy for you - this fortnight the challenge is to use flowers - yes flowers, how easy is that!

You can use them on patterned paper, by adding them to your cards, stamp them, be inspired by flowers or make your own - how much fun is that?

I have created my own flower for this divine shoe, the shoe template is designed by my dear friend and amazing artist Laura Kirste Campbell.  My flower is created using Spellbinders Rose Creations Shapeabilities - I think I have nearly worn this Die out - LOL!  I always seem to be reaching for it!

Lots of embossing and inking, along with some gorgeous Art Stencils

The gorgeous edge has been created using the Spellbinders Ironworks Accents Shapeabilities, which has been sponged while still in the Die - I love this effect.  of my Dies have been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine

and of course I had to finish with a flower on the heel - just for that extra bit of pizazz! LOL!

This project is for the following challenges:
Catch The BugAnything Goes
Crafty Calendar - Flowers in bloom
Hotshot Crafts - Die Cuts
Crop Stop - Pretty pearls
Creative Belli - Wedding
Just Keep on Creating - anything goes
Paper Shelter Challenge - vintage/shabby chic
Penny's Paper-Crafty - Anything goes

We would love you to join in with our challenge, pop over and check out the Design Team - you are sure to be inspired at every stop!

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment, I read each one and appreciate your support and encouragement! I do look forward to seeing you play along with our Bi-weekly challenge - there is so much fun ahead and you are going to want to be part of it!

  9. Oh this is so GORGEOUS Linda!! I love the colors you used - those are my faves *Ü* Wonderful job on the whole thing, especially loving those layered flowers. LOVE IT! Reminds me of the shoe Laura gave us a template for. I've always kinda wanted to make one but I think I've been reluctant to make it for some reason. So I'll just admire you lovelies!! *Ü*

  16. Hello Lovely Linda... your shoe project is just gorgeous! I clicked on the name of your friend who designed the shoe pattern but it took me to Layers of Color's closed store. Where would I be able to get a copy of the pattern? Is she selling it somewhere? Feel free to contact me via email or on facebook. :)

Thank you for joining us at CropStop. I hope you will come back soon!
