Spreading my Wings and Journaling...

Hello friends, today I am sharing my first Journal page - I was inspired to journal when I created the Mixed Media project using some of the Spellbinders Seth Apter Collection - you can see the post HERE.

I have used the negative die from the Seth Apter Drip Drop as my focal point - this is one of my favourite 'left overs'

I have inked and sponged using browns and oranges, love the warm tones on this page.  The butterfly is by IndigoBlu and has been coloured using Chameleon Art Pens.

The stamped sentiments have been added - my simple form of journaling - but I am working on that - I have never found it easy, even on my scrapbooking - but I am evolving in this and it will happen - not today, but along the way.  If you have any hints - please feel free t leave a comment here!

A few stamped ink splotches and the 'X' from the Drip Drop set has been sponged around the edges and adhered using liquid glue. I just love this journal created using recycled cardboard - I have great plans for it .... hope you join me and help me 'spread my wings' in this journey!!

You can see the Seth Apter Collection HERE new stamps and Dies have been added and they are divine!!
