Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by. Today is a beautiful sunny spring day so what better way to share a little 'sunshine' with you than through this card using Spellbinders Dies and stamps.
I have started by stamping the beautiful sunflower from the Choose Life Stamps Bible Journaling by Joanne Fink, twice onto white card stock. The images have been coloured using Chameleon Pens. One image has been cut/embossed using the Small Inner Rim from the Shapeabilities Holly Jolly Christmas Etched Dies A Charming Christmas Collection by Becca Feeken. This has then been layered onto the Small Patterned Die that has been cut/embossed using yellow card stock and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.
The second Sunflower Head has been fussy cut /hand cut out using scissors and popped up onto the second flower head using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares. This process has been repeated with the largest leaf. The base of the leaf has been glued to keep it flat.
The card front has been stamped using the Sunflower image and Imagine Memento Ink in Toffee Crunch - I do love their colour names. This has been cut/embossed using the Large Inner Rim and popped up onto a pre-cut slightly larger yellow card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares. The layered card front has been popped up onto the card front.
For the sentiment I cut the word “Hello” from the Hello Expressions Stamp and Die Set using black card stock and the background Die in pale yellow. The sentiment has been glued onto the background die, then popped that across the lower stems of the sunflower using double sided tape. The smaller sentiment is from the stamp set that goes with the Hello Expressions Stamp and Die Set. using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black Ink onto white card stock for this small greeting. This has been trimmed and glued across the lower portion of the die-cut sentiment. A double Seam Binding Bow has been glued to the left side of the top panel. A button has been threaded using twine and secured with a bow at the back and glued into the knot of the bow.
