Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by. I have another card to share with you using Stickers, pre-cut and recycled Dies from Workshop Kits and pieces of bling that are left sitting on my desk. I have really enjoyed the challenge of using them to create pretty and quick cards. I hope you are inspired to use up your stash as well. I try and make sure I use up some of the ever growing pile before I cut into more.
The patterned paper is from my stash - Stampin' Up! I believe. It has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine. Next it has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. A Gold Gel Pen has been used around the faux stitching.
The sticker is one of eight I came across in my stash and has been adhered to a Circle from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles SML Etched Dies white card stock and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine. This has been popped up onto another Die Cut I have had in my stash for a long time - The Fleur de Lis, which I believe it is discontinued - disappointing I know bu they are too pretty NOT to use up. Next it has been popped up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Square.
A double green Seam Binding bow has been glued to the left side of the Fleur de Lis Frame. The Sentiment has been popped up using a 3D Foam Squares at the base of the Fleur De Lis. Want2Scrap Nestabling has been trimmed and adhered around the Fleur de Lis - Note this is not co-ordinatiing Nestabling, but works so well - thinking outside the square on this one! Wink:Wink!

Beatiful card! I think it is wonderful you try to use up scraps and things from your stash. I try to do that, but sometimes the scraps get to overwhelming and the go in the round receptacle bin. Yikes! I love the flowers layered of the fleur di li and the pearl embellishments. And you know I am a fan of the bow! Thanks for joining us and good luck with your entry!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite game is "use up some bits and pieces stash!!" It's so rewarding when you can come up with something beautiful from leftovers! And your card is beautiful for sure! Great colors and dies. The way you added the bling completely changes the look of the Fleur De Lis Pendant die, I almost didn't recognize it! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
