Spellbinders Birthday Flowers Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using a mixture of stamps and Dies - including one of the new Dies by Marisa Job.  The beautiful stamp set is called - Thanks a Bunch.

'Thanks a Bunch Clear Stamps is a (3.75 in x 5.75 in) set of 31 that includes elements to make layered blossoms and leaves, layered base, accent pieces and three sentiments. Create your own flower bouquet! The clear stamp is designed to be used with an block'. - Spellbinders

1 Randomly stamp the leaves from Thanks a Bunch using three different green inks - using a darker one for the leaf veins.
2. Stamp the flowers using three different colours with variations of colour in the centre.
NOTE:  You can achieve a softer look by using second and/or third generation stamping - this is totally optional.

3.Cut/ emboss the stamped card stock using the second largest die from the Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies to create a card front using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.
4. Cut/emboss the Happy Birthday Banner Etched Dies using green card stock.
5.Remove from the Die and adhere both sides together over a length of twine using liquid glue.
6. Add the sentiment across the card front, curving slightly, adhere at the back of the card front using double sided tape.
7.Fussy cut/hand cut using scissors two flowers from the left over stamped card stock.
8. Trim a small 3D Foam Square in half and add either side of the ends of the top row of twine.
9. Peel off the backing and adhere one flower at each end.

10. Cut/emboss two Fancy Edged Rectangles using mustard card stock.
11. Fold one Fancy Edged Rectangles forward at the second scallop from the top.
12. Add a strip of double sided tape across the folded forward portion.
13. Layer the second Fancy Edged Rectangles onto the first , making sure to line up the patterned edges to form the card base.
14. Pop the card front onto the card base using 3D Foam Squares.
