Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by. I am sharing a masculine card with you today - well, it doesn't need to be masculine but the colours probably make me think it will be. The sentiment is a favourite of mine and holds special meaning to me - as most of us know life does not always go as planned and I had cause to hold this close to my heart for someone very close to me and thank God for answered prayer!!
Apply Imagine Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves to the trees using a sponge
dauber, apply Memento Espresso Truffle to the Reindeer with a touch of VersaFine Vintage Sepia. Stamp onto the cream card stock, allow to dry
– touch up any areas that may have missed ink using the ink pad and a sponge
dauber.
Lightly sponge the lower portion of the image using sponge
daubers without re-inking – both Bamboo Leaves and Vintage Sepia to create the appearance of ground. Sponge the top right corner using Imagine Memento Ink in Dandelion and a sponge dauber to create a sun, lightly adding beams onto the trees. Cut/emboss the image using the Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken #5 #6 to create the card front.
Stamp the sentiment using Imagine VersaFine ink in Vintage Sepia Ink, trim and adhere to the card front using double sided tape. Pop the card front onto the slightly larger pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
