Little Loves -Celebrate

Hello friends, thanks so much for joining me.   Today I am sharing an adorable whimsical card today using one of Spellbinders Little Loves Collection by Licensed Designer Sharyn Sowell.  Sharyn's Dies are always inspiring - the original being hand cut using scissors - an amazing skill in itself.  Sharyn is a very accomplished artist and you can read a little about her HERE.

'Little Loves Collection by Sharyn Sowell is full of moments captured in the eyes of little ones as they experience the wonders of life and first milestones.' - Spellbinders

one using white card stock and the other with Craft Foam and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  Sponge using Imagine Memento Ink in  Dandelion followed by Rockmelon on the lower portion of the Die Cut using a Sponge Dauber creating an ombre effect - light from the top working to dark at the bottom of the image.  Glue the die-cut layer onto the Craft Foam layer for dimension.

Glue the die cut image up onto patterned paper that has been cut/embossed using the Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies and blue ombre patterned paper.  Pop the layered die cut image up onto hand made patterned paper patterned paper (mine was made by a wonderful lady Carol Cantrell ) that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Curved Rectangles Etched Dies using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Crafty Foam Tape.  Next pop the layered image up onto a pre-cut card base using the Nestabilities Curved Rectangles Etched Dies and white card stock.

The Penny Black Inc. butterfly has been stamped onto patterned paper using Imagine Memento Ink in Tangerine, fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and has been has been glued by the body to the left of the First Friendsbelow the Die cut image. The smaller white butterfly from Little Birdie Crafts  has been glued to the left centre of the large butterfly.

The Little Birdie Crafts chipboard sentiment has been sponged using Imagine Memento Luxe in Wedding dress and had a coat of irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Wedding Dress added for the gloss finish.  When dry this has been glued along the base of the First Friends.

Drops of Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embelliser in Wedding Dress has been randomly added to create faux enamel dots.

Upcycled Party Animal

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by today. I could not resist 'ucycling'  this card created using the Spellbinders Hip Llama - and he lives up to his name beautifully and now looks ready to party - which is just as well because this card was for my DH's birthday a couple of weeks ago.  You can see the original tutorial HERE.

The  Hip Llama had his 'groove on' already but to be able to party properly he needed a Party Hat -I have used one from the Stampers Anonymous set.

What is a party without a little cocktail - or for me - a mocktail!!  I have stamped this pretty once using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and has been coloured using Chameleon Pens, with a little sparkle added. I have created a pocket in the 'blanket' using a Kraft Knife and popped the mocktail in.

...and what is a party without a Banner - this one has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Amused 1 Etched Die and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

A few changes but definitely worth the upcycle - don't you think?!? OH and  - did my DH like it - HE LOVED IT!! Phew!! Wink:Wink!!
