Smile

'Smile!' - I hope you have reason to today - or even made someone else smile.  My card today makes me smile, the colours are warm and happy - that is a good start!

The card base and patterned paper have been cut/embossed using the A2 Modern Stationery Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator.  The patterned paper has been embossed using the Tweets and Twigs Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder.  Die Cutting and embossing has been done using the Grand Calibur® Machine.

The flower is by Penny Black Inc and has been coloured using  IMAGINECrafts®/Tsukineko® Radiant Neon Ink in Electric Coral and Electric Purple.  This is adhered onto a white Die Cut panel that has been 'spritzed' and 'splatted' using Fireworks!™ Craft Spray. The bling is from Want2Scrap.   I have also used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares for dimension ,and E-Z Runner on this card.

Sew - Hello!

Hello Blog friends, time goes so quickly between posts and this one is a little overdue...real life needs me to visit every now and then - know what I mean! LOL! I am sure you do!!

The  background has been created using DCWV® paper, embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and Dotted Flowers  Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ folder.  The fabulous Gold Majesty Circles Spellbinders® Imperial Gold die - you can see why it is so popular can't you!?  

The image is from a retired stamp set, designed by my dear friend Nina Brackett 

It has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink in Rich Cocoa and cut out using Labels Eight  Spellbinders® Nestabilities.  The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.  I have used Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L- E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares.

Lots of embellishments from my desk always add to the feel of  a shabby/nostalgic card - love that little tape measure!  The pearls are from and Want2Scrap©

Lots of layers and details - all in the name of cleaning my desk - but to be quite honest, it has made no difference! LOL!

Make a Wish

There is something about this retired image that appeals me - part of that appeal could be the fact that is has been designed by my dear friend Nina Brackett of  NinaB Designs

 

The image has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Vintage Sepia, along with the background stamp designed by another dear friend Laura Kirste for Penny Black®, Inc.

  The sponging has been done using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMagic™ Chalk Pigment Ink in Pixie Dust.  The bling is from Want2Scrap© - Swirls Finesse - Silver Rhinestone.

I have also used  Labels Ten Spellbinders® Nestabilities® and the Lovely Lattice M-Bossabilities™ folder.

Feminine Forms

I love this stamp set designed by NinaB Designs for The Craft's Meow - Sew Lovely and it lives up to it's name.

I have stamped the image using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMark™ Watermark Ink and embossed using IMAGINE Crafts® Embossing Powder™ in White and sponged using

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMagic™ Chalk Pigment Ink in Pixie Dust

Added a button and Mulberry Rose.  The image has been cut out with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and the coordinating Spellbinders Labels Eight Nestabilities.

Recycled lace and kraft card, added pearls finish off this simply layered card.
