Artist in Residence - Mother's Day Tutorial

I have an Artist in Residence Tutorial on the Imagine Crafts Blog - the theme is Mothers Day - something we all celebrate at one time or another.  I had a lot of fun creating these shimmering flowers using some of the newest products out and they are divine!

Feminine Forms

I love this stamp set designed by NinaB Designs for The Craft's Meow - Sew Lovely and it lives up to it's name.

I have stamped the image using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMark™ Watermark Ink and embossed using IMAGINE Crafts® Embossing Powder™ in White and sponged using

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMagic™ Chalk Pigment Ink in Pixie Dust

Added a button and Mulberry Rose.  The image has been cut out with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and the coordinating Spellbinders Labels Eight Nestabilities.

Recycled lace and kraft card, added pearls finish off this simply layered card.

For Mother

Mother's Day is a special day for us all, some of us have our Mum's still here and others have precious memories that have become treasures.  For all the differences we have, one thing remains our common ground - we all have a Mother!!

I have created a card using only patterned paper from My Mind's Eye™.  I used IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Markers to highlight the colours on the flowers.

and added some butterflies from my stash, along with some Want2Scrap© black pearls.

 The sentiment is from SRM Stickers 

It does not get much easier then this!
