Be-YOU-iful

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by.  Today I have a feminine card to share with you, a little on the 'shabby' side and in one of my favourite palettes.

I am using one of my own patterned papers using leftover prices of papers - you know those ones that you don't want to part with - I have so many of them...it has been embossed using a Spellbinders Embossing Folder and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

The card front has been adhered onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. The small frame from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Romantic Rose Etched Dies has been cut using white card stock and popped up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The wooden sentiment is also from Kaisercraft and has been glued to a small die from the Spellbinders Fairmont Labels Etched Dies and then popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, onto the Romantic Rose Etched Dies   A small die from the Spellbinders Silhouette Etched Dies has been also added to the right side of the Fairmont Label.  Flowers from Little Birdie Crafts have been added to the top left corner of the layered dies.  The beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap.

Birthday Bicycles

Hello friends,welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!   Bikes with baskets have made their way back on trend and it just has to be said - this one is perfect with it's basket on the front. I have not one,but two cards to share with you today using the one die cut.

Cut/emboss one Bicycle using recycled cereal box.  Colour the bike with Chameleon Pens and use a white paint pen for details.

Cut the bicycle in half and adhere each half to a pink card front that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies then embossed using Platinum Die Cutting Machine.  Next it has been adhered to the slightly larger white pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The first card front has been sponged using a Penny Black Inc. Stencil and Imagine Radiant Neon Inks.  With clouds from the Rise N Shine Die D-Lite using white card stock added.  The Banners have been cut/embossed using the Die D-Lites Amused 1 Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  The flowers are from Little Birdie Crafts.

The second card front has torn green paper adhered to the lower portion of the card front, along with clouds from the Rise N Shine Die D-Lite using white card stock added.  The Banners have been cut/embossed using the Die D-Lites Amused 1 Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. The balloons and sentiment are Spellbinders Dies.

Sew What's New?

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by - I always love to see that you have been! It is Saturday evening for me here Down Under - today was a little bit fa shock as we have been having fabulous Spring weather - bit not today, it was very cool and windy.  I remind myself  we will be complaining about the heat before we know it!!  Colder weather means time in The Studio, but who am I kidding - so does hot weather LOL!

The patterned paper has been cut into squares and layered onto recycled cardboard, cut to size using a Spellbinders Matting Die and lightly sanded.  Each of the squares has been paper pierced by hand.  This has all been adhered to a pre-cut slightly larger Kraft card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Sheets 4 x6.   Want2Scrap Turquoise Baby Bling has been added between each pennant.  

The Banners have been cut/embossed using the Die D-Lites Amused 1 Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

TheSewing Machine image has been has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black onto white card stock and fussy cut/hand cut out using scissors. then popped up onto a die from the Spellbinders Distressed Edges Etched Die

Glue a scalloped white border below the image, next adhere a narrow strip of patterned paper and adhere it above the scalloped border.  Trim and adhere a strip of  Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Borders onto the scalloped edge.

A Laugh Is...

Hello friends, I have a pretty and very quick card to share with you today - using leftover patterned papers along with Kaisercraft Collectibles - I cannot stop using them - can you blame me!?! Wink:wink!

The card front has been cut/embossed using leftover pieces of patterned paper and one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine .  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut Kraft card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The stripes are from the front of 6"x6" Pads - they are perfect for this - it measures is 9cm long and adhered to the centre of cards on the right-hand side. using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.

A flower from my stash has been glued to the left of the striped panel and some die cut leaves from my stash adhered to the top of the flower. The Kaisercraft Collectible has been popped up across the striped panels using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Foam Squares.  The Want2Scrap Swirl has been trimmed and added to the right side of the flower, along with white pearls to each corner.  It is very easy to create a card in this style.

Creating for Charity

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  I have been doing lots of sorting and also prioritising - in amongst all of this I was very challenged by a story I saw and decided I needed to make some cards to donate to a Charity on a regular basis - straight away I know it had to be my local Ronald McDonald House and I am thrilled they are excited about having them regularly.

Needless to say I have a 'Mountain' of bits and pieces on my desk (LOL - my life story) and created 20 cards instantly from them - using card bases made up with papers I had cut - ready for an occasion just like this.  I have used a combination of my favourite products and a lot of those things that I didn't want to throw away but just keep gather - like die cuts I may have done 20 of and only used 10. embossed card fronts left over from kits, home made embellishments that are gathering - I love to fiddle with them every now and then for a change of pace - and I hate to waste pretty things! 

It is such a great feeling to make these and donate them - and even better as it is not a one of  -'Chicken Soup for the Soul'!  I have to say that it has not even made a dent in my bits and pieces -but give it time!!   I have more made but am yet to photograph - but will get onto as soon as possible!!

I have used the Kaisercraft Bombay Sunset Collection  for the card front that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies then embossed using Platinum Die Cutting Machine.  Next it has been adhered to the slightly larger pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

Collectibles from the Kaisercraft Bombay Sunset Collection have been layered onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner - Ultra, with the flower being popped up using 3D Foam Squares. 

Want2Scrap Orange Rhinestones have been randomly added to the card front.

Penny Black - Bee-utiful Friend Tag Card

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by - I always love to know you have visited.  Today I am sharing a card created using one of the gorgeous Penny Black Inc. stamp sets and Chameleon Color Top Pens - not my usual colours but I am really loving the palette - it is so easily achieved using the Color Tops - andSpellbinders Dies.

I am sharing another card created using a gorgeous blooming tags stamp set by Penny Black Inc.  The images, including the bee, have been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.

Extra details, including paint splatters, have been added using a White Paint Pen.  The card front has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies.

A die cut Scalloped Border has been glued across the centre of the card front, with a row of  narrow yellow RicRac adhered above it.  Want2Scrap Baby Bling Brown Rhinestones have been randomly added to the card front along with 250 Count  White Pearls.  The Penny Black Inc. sentiment has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
