I have had the loveliest day today - my DH and I headed off to the otherside of Canberra to a fabulous placed called Gold Creek Village, I love going there as they have the best Craft Store, but what is even better is that my SCS friend Michelle (aka Happylittlestamper) works there!  How often do you walk into a shop and get greeted with the biggest smile and the warmest hug -it is always so nice to see Michelle - look at her beautiful smile!!

Of course we had to talk 'shop' and catch up in about 10 minutes what we have been doing since we saw each other at the Craft Show and had a good laugh - Michelle I just love this photo...it says it all - who said stamping is boring!!!!  Has it got you wondering what we were laughing at....

 - while we were doing that my DH was quietly browsing around the shop and brought one of my Christmas presents.....a fabulous Stamp set from Darkroom Door - but shhh....don't tell me - it is a surprise! LOL!  I am wrapping it tomorrow so I don't sneak a few stamps off with it - last year in amongst my 'loot' was a fabuous DCWV pad of DP and I quickly pulled one out before it was wrapped and made a card with it - shocking I know....but I bet you have done something similar! LOL!

To finish off my day, my DH took the kids to the movies straight from school and I had 4 hours of stamping - I did not sneak any images from my Christmas present but finished off some projects I am working on..you will get to see them soon!

It is late here and I am heading off to bed - I try to get to bed before midnight BUT you know how it goes - one blog leads to another....and another...!!! LOL!  Thank you for stopping by and for your comments, you are always so kind and make my day! I will see you tomorrow!  God bless you!

  1. What fun Linda! It's so fun when stamping friends get together and it looks like the laughs were plentiful! I wish I could pop in and see you! I had to laugh that you snuck out one piece of dp... yes, I've done it! I've used a nestie and then stuck it back in the package
I'm so glad you had such a great day my friend! I'll be watching to see what you came up with!

  2. What fun LInda!! What an awesome photo!! Isn't it fun to meet with stamping friends!! looks like you had a great time. Hope you did not spend to much, tee hee!!!
Glad you had a good day!

  3. How fun is this...walking into the craftstore and being welcomed by your friend? Priceless, I'd say!! Last year when my hubby surorised me with my Cricut Expression he was smart enough to have it sent to one of his friends he works with..so he kept it at his house until the day before Christmas. That was the biggest surprise yet..he usually buys things with the kids and they tell (but don't tell my hubby that ;D)I am really happy that you has a fun day with your DH and your friend. GOD is just good!! Hugs and blessings, Sabrina

  4. How fun Linda! I'm so happy for you that you had a great day and a fun time! Nice pics too!

  6. What a wonderful day to share and laugh together - I am trying to get one of my friends addicted to stamping too, but she is resisting.. but at least we still laugh a lot and share our faith. That is priceless.

Wonderful of Ron to buy you what you 'need' and feed your addiction for Christmas - my DH is good at that too ;-)

  7. Hey there Girlfriend (I've always wanted to say that.) It was just fabulous to see you again, our visits are really too few and far between. I have to say Ron is such a gem.You are a lucky woman. I don't even remember him taking that photo of me laughing, but yes we were having fun.
I can't wait till we all get together to stamp,
    Hugs always, your friend

  8. How fun! Great pics of you both. How nice of your dear hubby to buy you just what you want. I hope you are surprised on Christmas morn!
