I am sharing my card for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week. We love to see so many of you play along and share your 'art from the heart!' Thank you for your support!
This weeks challenge is brought to us Traci - who has chosen the following scripture:
"Do not let your heart be troubled;believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father'S house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am , there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."
John 14:1-6
Traci has asked us to create a card that depicts something that says "home" to you.
My image is from our sponsor DRS Designs - from the time I was young we have always hgad birds in our home, either inside and tame or in an Avairy outside...I love hearing their singing, it is music to my ears and always makes me feel good. So you can see why I could not resist this adorable image.
I have cut out the image using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur to cut out the Labels One and Scalloped Labels One. The gorgeous Nestabling is from Want2Scrap.
This card is for the following challenges:
Avadares - Anything for August
Digi Doodle Shop's Best - Things with wings
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything Goes
Pixie Dust Studio - Vintage
Scrapbook Sisters - Things with wings

Linda - This is beautiful! I love birds too. I have a sweet little female hummingbird that looks in my front door every evening after she drinks from my feeder. Its the sweetest thing. And if I'm sitting on the front porch when she comes by she looks right at me and chirps at me. I think she is thanking me for the yummy nectar!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
