This weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge is hosted by Kris.
"They rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him. And... presented gifts to Him." Matthew 2:10-11
Kris has asked us to make a Christmas Card or project.
It is with very mixed feelings that we share our cards this week and the news that this is the last week of the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge. This is the most amazing group of ladies, both past and present, who have come together each week to share challenges and inspire us with their art and from the heart.
The Stampin' Sisters are sharing Faith Based Christmas Cards this week, although the challenge is for any Christmas Card. It is our faith that is our mutual bond and the whole foundation of this wonderful challenge, we are from all different denominations but our Design Team is all united in our faith and love for the one true God, Jehovah - after all, it is not God who puts 'fences' around Churches, it is people who do - I very much doubt that we will be seated in Heaven according to denomination!
I have used an image from Crafty Secrets! I have used theSpellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine to cut out the Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles as my card base and added the gorgeous Want2Scrap co-ordinating Nestabling. My sentiment has been embossed using Tuskineko Gold Embossing Powder.
I want to take this opportunity to thank each Stampin' Sister in Christ, for their friendship, encouragement and support, both corporately and personally. You enrich my life and I am so grateful that our 'sisterhood' has eternal value and is not limited to being on a Design Team together, although that has been an amazing journey in itself. This season is coming to an end and I am grateful that each season has a beginning and an end - I pray that each of you will be blessed with the beauty of a 'new day' and 'season' opening in your lives. You have all left footprints on my heart Sistah's!!

Linda, what a special joy to come to your blog today and see your gorgeous creation, but even more to read the words from your heart. I can't tell you how grateful I am that SSIC brought us together under the banner of His name. It has indeed been a blessed journey. I'm so thankful we can still connect through our group page and pray for one another. You and your family are always on my mind and heart. You and your talent continually inspire me. So I'm thankful we don't have to say goodbye!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your card is exquisite! As are all your gorgeous creations. I will miss being on a dt with you, but I know we'll stay connected. I too am grateful our friendship has eternal value :)
