Lots of Love

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend - it is a cold Sunday night here and I am making the most of it!  I received some exciting Happy Mail through the week - some gorgeous dies from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and I have to say - they are wonderful to work with.

For my card front I have used the negative dies from the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection -Lattice  Once removed from the Die they have been glued onto pink card stock to recreate the lattice effect.  The layered dies have been adhered to slightly larger white card stock and popped up onto a handmade patchwork card front.  Next the card front has been layered onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base. A medium Want2Scrap 250 Count Black Pearl has been added to the centre of each flower.

The Dragonfly from the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerber Collection - Lattice has been stamped using black ink onto white card stock and coloured using Chameleon Pens, fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and glued to the card front  with glue on the body only! Liquid Glitter has been added to the wings.

The Penny Black Inc. sentiment has been stamped onto black card stock using Imagine VersaMark  Ink, and heat embossed using White Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool.  Next it has been trimmed and glued onto the lower portion of the embossed card front.  A double black and white gingham bow has been glued to the left side of the sentiment.

This card is linked to the following challenges:
