Easter Greetings

I love to create but there are those moments when I feel panic set in - one of those being this week when the local store that sells my cards needed a top up of 40 cards....Now, I know that is a good thing but it also sent my stock of  'reserves' back a bit - not a great feeling....especially when they ordered 12 Easter cards on top of that!

Once my 'panic' subsided I got out my Spellbinders Die Templates, along with the Grand Calibur and was off to a good start.  Images was the next thing - so I printed off some free digi's from the Magic Moonlight Free Images Blog and I was on my way!

I cut out this image using the Spellbinders Labels Fifteen  and the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die Cutting Machine

The sentiment is computer generated - I cannot believe that I do not own one stamp with Happy Easter on it, or something along that line....I need to rectify that!  The sentiment is cut using the Spellbinders Ribbon Banner Dies

Some gorgeous crochet lace and Mulberry Paper Flowers and pearls - but you knew that didn't you! LOL!

and one very quick, vintage card is finished - it doesn't get much easier than this as the Girlz in my Card Design Class are going to find out tonight as we recreate this card along with one other....

This card is for the following challenges:
 Ruby's Rainbow - Easter
Scrapbook Sisters - Easter
Scrapalicious - Easter
rhood of Crafters - Easter

How are you enjoying the NinaB Designs Dream Team Blog Hop - I hope you have had time to play along, to be inspired - make sure you leave a comment to be in the draw for a Giveaway on each Blog - how exciting is that - you can see the details on each Blog - or at NinaB Designs

I have popped back to show you the card I made as 'Plan B' - my Dies and stamps took a bit longer to arrive than we hoped, but thankfully they arrived just before the Blog Hop, just as well I have quite a few of NinaB Designs stamps...so I created this card just incase....but thankfully I did not need it!

I have used and image from the Sew Lovely set illustrated by Nina for The Craft's Meow - I love this set and I know you don't even need to ask why.  The image has been cut out with the Spellbinders LS5-019 Labels Eight Die and the Spellbinders Grand Calibur.

The bow is made using my handdyed Seam Binding, a Mulberry Paper Rose has been added, along with some braid - I love the texture braid gives...it adds a touch of oppulence.

This card is for the following challenges:

SSIC LOC Happy Anniversary

This weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge is brought to us by Peggysue

The scripture she has chosen is:
"Make it your aim to live a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to earn your own living, just as we told you before.12 In this way you will win the respect of those who are not believers, and you will not have to depend on anyone for what you need."
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
Peggysue has challenged us to use nothing bright. Use 'quiet' colors in your creation, either pastels, or low key earthtones, soft, muted shades of beige or neutrals.

I have used the Layers of Color Gifts of Love art stamp set illustrated by Nina Brackett.
Along with the Spellbinders Lacey Circle and Standard Circle Lge Nestibilities, these have been cut out with the wonderful Grand Calibur.  For the sentiment I have used Fancy Tags One.  My background DP is wallpaper - isnt it divine - I would LOVE an embossing folder like this.

This card is for the following challenges:
Catch The Bug - September Anythings Goes
Designed 2 Delight - Wedding or Anniversary
Little Claire's - Wedding/Anniversary
Sweet Stampin - Anything but Birthday
Alphabet Challenge - P is for Pretty Pastels
Cuddly Buddly - vintage, distressing, flowers
Fun with Shapes & More - what you want (anything goes)
