Butterfly Wishes

Hello Blog Friends, today's card was inspired when I popped over to comment on my friend Maxine's Blog and I saw her participating in this Blog Hop  - and to quote Maxine
'The inspiration for this card has come from several sources, not the least is Becca's  Hop To Stop. Becca is passionate about preventing, and making people aware of, Domestic Violence, and has created this hop to raise awareness.

To quote Becca, and these statistics are not confined to any one country...

1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence over the course of their lifetimes.
Let that sink in - 33% of all the women you meet.

And women aren't the only people who are affected! Women, men, transgender - gender doesn't matter. Domestic violence is something that exists regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, religion, education level, etc.

My card has been created using some paper from my Stash - loving the blues, greens and purples on this retro paper,  I have used a Prima Stencil and DecoArt Texture Paste for the raised butterflies.  Once dry they have been coloured using Imagine Crafts ‘featuring’ Tsukineko  Radiant Neon's Ink in Electric Yellow.  Want2Scrap bling has been added to the center of each butterfly.

The sentiment has been framed using the Stately Circles Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Decorative Elements.  I have also used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Crafty Foam Tape and E-Z Adhesive Runner.

The butterfly is from my stash and has been 'splothed' in the same manner as the white layer; with an orange button and a gem added to the centre.  The sentiment is by RubberMoon and has been stamped using  Imagine Crafts ‘featuring’ Tsukineko Memento Ink in Espresso Truffle.   Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner have been used on this card.
