The image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  and has been cut/embossed using Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole Die Set . Happy Birthday Train

Hello friends, I hope you have been enjoying your weekend - they seem to fly past so quickly - don't you think?  Today I have a little change of pace - a card suitable for a little boy - I created this for my Grandson, Noah, to give his cousin for his first birthday - he is slightly younger than Noah.

I love it that Spellbinders has Dies for every occasion...for this card I have used the Spellbinders Little Guy Die D-Lite - how adorable is it!? What little boy doesn't love trains, cars and trucks!?  The Engine has been cut/embossed using red card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform.  Two trucks have been cut/embossed and the cab removed off each to create the carriages, adding adding Washi Tape across the top of each, along with some frayed burlap.

The hills have been created  by cutting/embossing two A2 Curved Borders One Card Creator Etched Dies green patterned paper from my stash.  These have been adhered onto blue card stock - as shown in the photo above and black/white twine added around the hills. The train and carriages have been adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The puffs of smoke have been cut/embossed using grey card stock and glued to the sky.  The clouds and sun have been cut/embossed using Celebrations Day Dreams Etched Dies.  Birds have been added to complete the scene.

Spellbinders Mr and Mrs

Hell o friends,  I am sharing a card created using Spellbinders Stamps and Dies by Debi Adams, I do love her style - very different from mine, but her Collections are so easy to work with - and I love to work "outside the box" at times.

I have used the Spellbinders  Framed Petite Labels embossing folder as the base for this card - it has such pretty details and lends itself to be combined with the Quite Contrary Debi Adams Fresh Sentiments Stamp And Die Set.  I have coloured the flower using Chameleon Pens and added some white highlights using a White Gel Pen.

The embossing folder has been sponged using Imagine Memento Luxe ink in Wedding Dress and a sponge dauber - I love how this both softens and highlights the embossed pattern. A strip of lace has been adhered across the centre o the embossed frame using liquid glue.  The sentiment has been popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares and Want2Scrap Sage Green Pearls have been added around the frame.  This layer has been popped up onto a pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
