FTTC52A Sweet Peas

Today is the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 1st Anniversary!  I am thrilled to have been asked to play along for the celebrations - thank you ladies - I am honoured to be playing!  Today is a HUGE day and The Design Team from Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge are going to be bringing us heaps of inspiration - are you ready!!?

This is my sample for Cindy's "it's a sketch" challenge (FTTC52A).  You can find out how to play along by checking out the Flourlishes  Anniversary Celebration post .  I used one of the Flourishes sets I won in the March 2009 New Releases, I actually won on my birthday - what a gift!!  Who doesn't love the Sweet Peas Set

I cut the image into four, colouring them with SU Chalks and added a light touch of Kindy Glitz to the flowers.  I sponged around the edges with SU Old Olive and layered them onto black CS, adding a Prima flower, sent to me in a RAK from my dear friend Sabrina (aka okimom2girlz) and securing it with the gorgeous black brad.

The DP has been embossed with the Stylised Flowers Embossing Folder and sponged around the edges.  Recycled lace is added across the bottom of the card and the sentiment from the Sweet Pea Set is added, along with a sponged, punched butterfly with black gems added.

Make sure you check out what the FTTC Design Team and other players have done - be prepared to be inspired to the "MAX!'

I hope you enjoy the sketch, Iook forward to seeing what you do. Thanks for visiting with me and for your lovely comments, you always make me smile! I look forward to seeing you at the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 1st Anniversary celebrations and don't forget to link your cards to Mr. Linky over at the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge Blog.  God bless you!
