MMSC112 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

I am excited to show you my project for this weeks Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge

I had chosen this wonderful Vintage Car from "priscillastyles" Store and had no idea what I was going to create, but whatever it was - it was going to have this divine car and some of the fabulous flowers from this months sponsor Petaloo.  Now, I have to ask you - doesn't this car make you think of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - do you remember that movie!!? 

Than I came across this address book tucked away in the cupboard - perfect to altering!!

I covered the back and front with some textured card embossed with the Tim Holtz Embossing Folder - thank to my friend Deb.  I added some DCWV Ribbon on the spine of the book and basically followed the MMSC12 sketch as best I could (LOL)!

My card was created in a similar way, but I have used some SU Embossing Folders this time - these were part of my Hostess Dollars at my Workshop - thanks Ann!!

I have added some of the gorgeous Petaloo Flowers - there are so many to choose from!!  The tiny rose have been layered into a larger flower that has had the edges inked with Walnut Stain Distressing Ink.

 Both flowers have been painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Pearl....it is not showing up so well in these photos - how typical!!

So what do you think - don't you just love these flowers, I had not idea just how many flowers Petaloo make...and then I discovered the bling - you need to check it out!!
