Blue for You

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a slightly 'shabby' card - I have once again been tidying up the UFO's (un-finished objects) that seem to gather on my desk at such a fast rate. As much as I try to clear it all I know that I am really just kidding myself - but I am OK with that! Wink:wink!

The image has been stamped onto blue card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. It has then been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

Brown Seam Binding has been wrapped around the lower portion of the die cut image and a double Seam Binding Bow has been glued to the left side of the ribbon, followed by layered flowers o the centre of the bow. This has been popped up onto a card that has been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken.
The sentiment has been adhered to the the top right corner of the stamped layer.  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares and Crafty Foam Tape have been used for dimension.

This card has been linked to the following challenges:

Spread Your Wings and Fly Canvas

Hello friends, today I am sharing something a little different for me - but something I have loved creating.  Mixed Media - it has taken me by surprise but in another sense seems totally natural as well - I am loving it and have quite a few things being worked on.

This canvas was inspired by a set of card I had was commissioned to create for the Australian Simply Cards Magazine - they were published in ASC #97 in August 2017 - I was thrilled to have a 6 page article and a card on the cover

One card in particular was a favourite and it the basis for the canvas using Seth Apters Spellbinders Dies. It is an 8x8 canvas and the tittle is 'Spread Your Wings and Fly' something I am endeavouring to to artistically.  I have used the following products:

You can see some of the details in the Collage below.

Spellbinders Baby Boy

Hello friends - there is something about making baby cards - is it the fact that they are one of the cards people seems to keep, along with Wedding cards?  I do love the create them and adding lots of special details.  This may be the only time that you can make cards for males pretty and even add a bow! LOL!

I have cut/embossed the card base using Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles 2 and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform..  The patterned paper has been cut to size and popped up onto the card base using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The image is from my stash and has been coloured using Chameleon Pens.  This has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and adhered to a Standard Circle LG using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner, then popped up onto a Die from  Spellbinders Fleur de Elegance and frame from the Silhouette Die D-Lite.

The sentiment is from the Darkroom Door  Hello Baby stamp set and stamped using Imagine Crafts Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  This has been cut and layered onto a strip of the patterned paper and then onto the layered card base.  The gorgeous sheer double bow is created using May Arts Ribbon.

This card is linked to the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiments Challenge - Anything Goes

Love Defined

Hello friends - I hope life is being good to you, I always appreciate you stopping by.  The last few weeks have been so incredibly busy for me, it was lovely to have a day off to celebrate our eldest daughters birthday - I cannot believe she is 20 - time really does fly doesn't it!?

I have used the Spellbinders Need a Rope 3D Embossing Folder.  This is such a  great embossing folder, as soon as I saw it I thought 'masculine cards' but also love the way it works on feminine cards -as you can see above,

The sentiment is from Kaisercraft and has been stamped using Imagine Craft Memento Ink in Teal Zeal.  The layered flower has been created from my stash, I believe the blue paper is retired from Stampin' Up!  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner and 3D Foam Squares have been used on this card.

This card is for the following challenges:
Creative Craft Cottage Challenge - Lets get Sentimental
Eureka Stamps - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Allsorts - spring is in the air
Corrosive Challenge March - Anything Goes
Morgan's Art World - Include a Sentiment
Die Cut Divas - Something Spring
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Mum's Day/Special Female
STAMPlorations March Challenge - Theme - Stamps and Texture
Art By Miran Challenge - Anything Goes

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!
