Bundle of Joy

Baby cards are always fun to create, I love the crispness of these - pink and blue - traditional baby colours!

The image has been cut out using the Spellbinders Marvellous Squares Nestabilities and the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine .

The buttons are glued into a Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles Nestabilities

The pink card is done in the same way

I have coloured using Watercolour Pens and an Aqua Pen, for a change.

The pearls on both cards are from Want2Scrap

These cards are for the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Pink, Pearls & Lace - card 2
Card Mania Baby

SSIC Watching

I am sharing my card for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week.  Our Hostess is the lovely Sandie, who has chosen the following scripture:

 To everything there is a season,  time for every purpose under heaven:
 A time to be born,  and a time to die;
A time to plant,  and a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
 A time to gain, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and a time of peace.
Eccl. 3: 1-8

Sandie's challenge is Time. Use clocks/watches, calendars, sundials, etc. OR black and white only (to represent night and day).

My images are retired stickers from Stampin' Up that have been in my stash for a long time.

I am excited to be sharing a card with you using one of Spellbinders newest die line... Die D-Lites and they are just that...D-Lite-ful!   You can check them out here

For my card today I have used the Medallion Four Die D-Lites Shapeabilities - the newest released Dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts.  These Dies are truly gorgeous and in a field of their own.

For a full look at the Dies and some great tips to get the most from these Dies you can click here

I have added some elaborate lace and Seam Binding, the silver embellishment is the top of a Christmas Ornament with a Want2Scrap pearl added - all bling on this card is by Want2Scrap.  The Medallion Four Die D-Lite has been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur.

Here is the full view of the card, I have added it at the end as it is no the best photo - no matter what I did I could not get it to look right, but you get the idea.  I am blaming it on moving rooms - I am adjusting to the the lighting in my Studio for photographing - well ,that is what I am telling you anyway! SSIC Peace

It is time for this weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge, this weeks hostess is the lovely Peggysue, who has chosen:

Make a card that to you represents peace or calm; with an image, color scheme, CAS layout or verse, something that speaks peace to you, but peace symbols themselves are excluded. The card has to speak peace through your own style.  John 16:33

There is nothing more peaceful than being in the garden, we often unwind as we water the plants, it is so relaxing after a busy day, especially in an Australian summer.

I have used an image from the Flourishes Sweet Days of Summer
stamp set, cutting it out with Spellbinders Standard Circles LG Nestabilities, layering it onto the Parisian MotifsWant2Scrap Black Gems have been added around the circle.

The sentiment is cut out with the Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags One Shapeabilities and layered onto lace and some narrow gingham ribbon.  The butterfly embellishment is tied onto the bow.

This card is for the following challenges:
Cards Galore - Anything goes
