Poetry in Kindness

A quick card to share with you today as we are still not well - will it ever end?!?! Arghhhh!
I have used a different palette than I usually work in and have to say I quite partial to it!

The image is from Glitz and has been stamped in Tsukineko StazOn in Black. The sentiment is by JustRite® Stampers - Kindness stamp set and is also stamped in Tsukineko StazOn in Black.

The image has been cut out using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine  and the Standard Circles LG Nestabilities®

I have also used the gorgeous new Spellbinders Fantastic Flourish Two  Shapeabilities® Die D-Lites™.  I love the way these look with flowers - such a versatile Die.  I have used the die as a Stencil, sponging with Tsukineko Spanish Moss Versafine Ink.

The pearls are from Want2Scrap 72 Count - Sage Green Pearls - love the way the colour matches the ink perfectly!  Crochet lace and KaiserCraft paper have also been used.

This card is for the following challenges:
Simply Create - Always anything goes
Creative Moments - Anything Goes
Tuesday Alchemy - Anything Goes
Crafty BootsAnything Goes
House of Gilli - Die Cuts
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes

Never Never Never Give Up

I am popping in to share a quick card.  I have not been posting too much this week as our household has been hit with a virus - and it has wiped us out for a few days!

But thankfully we have all picked up a bit today, so while the rest of the family are watching a movie. I thought I would 'sneak in' a post.  One of the great things about having my desk in the living area is I still get to be with everyone.  It is a standing joke that I never see a movie now, I just get to hear it! LOL! The sacrifices we make....

I have used one of my favourite Our Daily Bread Designs stamp sets for this card - Never Give Up.

I have stamped the image and sentiment in Tsukineko Versafine - Vintage Sepia and cut them out using Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Eight and layered onto A-2 Fancy Postage Stamps Nestabilities® .  My Die are cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® .

My bling is from Want2Scrap.  I always love the way it finishes off a project - I forget what it is like to create something without it!

This card is for the following challenges:
Creative Moments - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door - Always Anything Goes
Tuesday Alchemy - Anything Goes

SSIC Christmas Blessings

This weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge is hosted by Kris.

"They rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him. And... presented gifts to Him." Matthew 2:10-11

Kris has asked us to make a Christmas Card or project.

It is with very mixed feelings that we share our cards this week and the news that this is the last week of the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge.  This is the most amazing group of ladies, both past and present, who have come together each week to share challenges and inspire us with their art and from the heart.

The Stampin' Sisters are sharing Faith Based Christmas Cards this week, although the challenge is for any Christmas Card.  It is our faith that is our mutual bond and the whole foundation of this wonderful challenge, we are from all different denominations but our Design Team is all united in our faith and love for  the one true God, Jehovah - after all, it is not God who puts 'fences' around Churches, it is people who do - I very much doubt that we will be seated in Heaven according to denomination!

I have used an image from Crafty Secrets! I have used theSpellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine  to cut out the Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles as my card base and added the gorgeous Want2Scrap co-ordinating Nestabling. My sentiment has been embossed using Tuskineko Gold Embossing Powder.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each Stampin' Sister in Christ, for their friendship, encouragement and support, both corporately and personally.  You enrich my life and I am so grateful that our 'sisterhood' has eternal value and is not limited to being on a Design Team together, although that has been an amazing journey in itself.  This season is coming to an end and I am grateful that each season has a beginning and an end - I pray that each of you will be blessed with the beauty of a 'new day' and 'season' opening in your lives.  You have all left footprints on my heart Sistah's!!

This card is for the following challenges:
Allsorts - Bring on the Bling
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas - For Someone Special
Crazy 4 Challenges - Put a bow on it
One Stop Craft - Vintage Christmas
Artistic StampersAnything Goes

Thank you to our sponsor

Make sure you stop by the Designers Blogs are some amazing inspiration - these ladies are inspirational on so many levels and I know they would appreciate hearing from you this week,

Welcome to the monthly NinaB Designs team blog hop. NinaB Designs is a product designer for a few paper crafting companies including Spellbinders, Want2Scrap, Penny Black, and The Craft's Meow. For this month's hop, Nina challenged us to create something with Winter and Holidays in mind.

The holidays provide many opportunities for paper crafters to give an extra personal touch to every occasion. Whether you are doing place cards for a dinner, tags for gift giving or even just hand made projects using your supplies on hand, it is a blessed season indeed!

Here is my project.

I was inspired by wintery colours - the crispness of blue and white

The Christmas Angel has been coloured using SU Chalks/Pastels and had some Diamond Dazzle added to the wings.

The gorgeous bling on the Holiday Collage Christmas Tree is from Want2Scrap

The images are layered into the Spellbinders A-2 Fancy Postage Stamps Nestabilities® that has been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine

Here are the products I used for my winter themed card
