Cut-Fold-Tuck Just for You

Hello Blog friends, today I am sharing a card using one of the Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® Cut • Fold • Tuck die templates.

Whirl About is so easy to use and makes a stunning card so quickly.  I have layered Dies #1 and #3 (#1 being the smallest) using foam tape.

and popped a Classic Scalloped Circles Spellbinders® Nestabilitie® in between.  The flower is from my stash - from one of the very first Blog Candies I won - I think!  The black bling is from Want2Scrap©

The Whirl About is layered onto the  Fleur de Lis Squares Spellbinders® Decorative Elements Nestabilities®.  The bling is Want2Scrap© - Beautiful Bling Strips - White Pearl/Black Rhinestones - Pair.

The patterned paper is by KaiserCraft, the sentiment is from a retired Layers of Color stamp set and has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Onyx Black

Darkroom Door Happy Birthday

The 'Dreaded Man Card' has never been so easy - the Darkroom Door images are perfect for making masculine cards - some fabulous ones for feminine as well I might add.

I have used the its onto the Little Door - Photo Stamp and colour using the Crayon Resist Technique with white crayon and IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink in  Love Bug, Peanut Brittle, Pistachio and Bamboo Leaves.

 The sentiment is from JustRite® Papercraft and has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Vintage Sepia.

The embossed layer is the Creative Cogs Spellbinders® 3D M-Bossabilities™ folder.  It has been sponged using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink in Expresso Truffle.

Cute Bee Card

How adorable are bees - in New Zealand, my homeland, we have Bumble Bee's - they are round, fuzzy and divine.  Here in Australia the Bees are slightly different, but still lovely - until you are stung that is! 

I found this bee sticker in my stash from way back and decided it was time I used it.  I have adhere it onto a cut.embossed  Labels Four  Spellbinders® Nestabilities®, the Die has been used a stencil, sponging the inside of the Die using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink in Desert Sand.  The has then been layered onto the Diamond Effects  Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® using foam tape.

NOTE:  I used the negative of the #3 Die - remembering that Spellbinders numbers from the smallest to the largest - the smallest being number 1.

AIR #1 - Photo Transfer Tutorial

 I am excited to be sharing an Artist in Residence for Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko with you today - it is Artist Choice and after being so inspired by the Tutorial on the Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko facebook wall, I decided to give Photo Transfer a try!

I have to add at this point I was also greatly inspired (and excited too) to experience John At Imagine teaching a LIVE Class at the Spellbinders Retreat - I made the most of it and took my photos there for this tutorial - with John's permission of course - thanks John! LOL!   I have to say - there is nothing quite like being there - especially when the teacher is such an inspiring artist!  You can see a couple of photos of this Class at the bottom of this post.  BTW - don't you love the new mat from ImagineCrafts Craft Mat- we got to use them and - I have to say - you are going to LOVE it - wipes clean with every ink - even StazOn - but that is another Tutorial! :)

Cut/ trim the Photo Chip so it is slightly bigger than the Monterey Pine™ embellishment you are using.  Add some  IMAGINE Crafts® Creative Medium™ using the IMAGINE Crafts® InkBlushers™.

Place the PHOTO Elements™ onto the Monterey Pine™ - face down and use a Brayer to remove any air bubbles.

Add some water to a glass and wet the PHOTO Elements™ using a IMAGINE Crafts® InkBlushers™ as shown in the photo below.

Wet your fingers and roll the paper off the Monterey Pine™ - remember to do this gently otherwise you will remove some of the PHOTO Elements™.  Using a Fantastix™ Multi-Purpose Applicator sponge around the edges using  IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® StazOn® Solvent Inks in Teal Blue.

Using the IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® StazOn® Solvent Inks in Teal Blue and the

Fantastix™ Multi-Purpose Applicator, colour the inside of the Spellbinders Bezel.

I have adhered the finished Monterey Pine™ Embellishment into a Spellbinders Bezel using a few drops of Ice Resin, the added Ice Resin over the top - it has given it a fabulous finish and allows the pretty shimmer from the Creative Medium™  to show through.  I have added this to a string of tiny beads I have had sitting waiting for the perfect bling to complete it.

Baby Girl Layout

 I am so blessed to be married to a photographer - he takes the most amazing photos and there is never a shortage of possibilities for layouts

But there are those photos, that are not your typical photos, not those that end up framed but have a special place in your heart - and this is one of them - my poor baby was not well and the day after this photo it was confirmed she did not have dangerous virus - poor baby - I do have to add that this baby is now a teenager and probably cringes at the thought of this photo! LOL!

Imagine Butterfly

I am slowly sorting through photo of projects I have done at various times and am sharing a card that we created during the Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko Class taught by John At Imagine the the Spellbinders Retreat in August.

We used the fabulous new product Vertigo, along with the IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Kaleidacolor™ Dye Inkpad in Grapevine

The butterfly is from the Les Papillions Two Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® and the Radiant Rectangles Spellbinders® Majestic Elements Nestabilities®.  The background has been embossed using the  Whimsical Flora Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ folder.  All Die cutting and embossing has been done using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

The bling is from Want2Scrap© - Baby Bling and the sentiment from SRM Stickers.
