My last few cards have been quick and easy - such a strange feeling for me, as I am doing a more eclectic style, which I love but is more time consuming! This card is for this weeks Sketch Challenge on SCS and has no sponging, paper piercing or dsitressing.....ahhh....not my comfort zone BUT....there is chalking - phew!
I used this gorgeous paper I was given by my friend Chriss, layered it on black CS - the DP made making this card so easy...the image is one I was sent in a RAK from Sue (aka Coffeestamper aka Perk) I chalked the image and added Kindy Glitz to the steam from the coffee....the back of the chair and the legs are coloured with a metallic gel pen, to give them a wrought iron look - simply because I love that look! I layered the image on black CS and then popped it up on 3D foam dots.
A chiffon ribbon was added across the panels and some black half pearls to the corners...and...wha-la - one card finished! I am happy with the result, although it just seems a little bit too easy, especially when I usually send a lot longer on a card - this is probably the closest I will get to making a CAS!!!
Thank you for looking - I would love to hear what you think....God bless you!
